Saint Mary's College
Saint Mary’s College is a private, Catholic, women’s college in Notre Dame, IN with a focus on “creating leaders & women of action.” The college offers more than 50 academic programs, which include six nationally accredited programs, and four graduate programs, which are co-ed. Saint Mary’s is well known for the individualized attention students receive and for helping prepare them for their careers by fostering communication skills, problem solving skills, critical and creative thinking skills, leadership experience, and practical experience through internships, research, and other hands-on activities.
The institution also maintains a close affiliation with the University of Notre Dame and Holy Cross College to provide more opportunities for our students. Saint Mary’s offers study abroad opportunities in nearly 20 countries and more than half of the student body utilizes the program, which offers travel to Italy, China, Morocco, Argentina, and more. The campus is home to three Centers of Distinction, the Center for Spirituality, Center for Women’s Intercultural Leadership, and the Center for Academic Innovation, the last of which can award independent student study and research grants. Saint Mary's offers a free application and is test optional for students.
