Scripps College
Scripps College is the women’s college of the Claremont Colleges, located in sunny Southern California. Scripps students enjoy access to over 60 majors, small class sizes, and a collaborative learning environment with professors who value reciprocal knowledge building. All students complete research as part of the senior thesis requirement and in the college’s signature Core curriculum, a program based in the interdisciplinary humanities. There are ample opportunities to engage in the Scripps and Claremont Colleges community, as well. Most students live in Scripps-sponsored housing all four years, are involved in various clubs, internships, athletics, and traditions on and around campus. Scripps’ beautiful campus provides an inspiring environment with many fruit trees, gardens, and courtyards.
