University of Illinois Chicago
The University of Illinois at Chicago is a public research university located in the Windy City. UIC’s 15 colleges and schools offer 87 bachelor’s degrees, 53 certificates, and more than 150 graduate degrees, as well as multiple research opportunities for undergraduates and study abroad programs available in six continents. Routinely ranked as one of the more diverse colleges in the nation, the most diverse in the UIC system, UIC at Chicago has multiple Centers for Cultural Understanding and Social Change. The Chicago campus has on- and off-campus housing near the main academic buildings that are also close to many popular neighborhoods including Greektown, West Loop, Pilsen, and Chinatown.
