A toboggan’s eye view of 2020’s US National Toboggan Championships in Camden, Maine. I’m not saying we were the fastest, but we did scream a lot.

(Team Sleddy Krueger is used to making everyone else scream, so it was nice to be on the other side of things.)

Such an excellent day at Camden Snow Bowl for this annual event, which brings out hundreds of tobogganers and some hilarious costumes, and makes Maine winters something to look forward to every year.
Toboggans race down the 400-foot chute, reaching speeds up to 40 mph before launching out onto the frozen lake. It’s a thrill!

While races were cancelled in 2021 due to the pandemic, we’re sure to be back to the chute as soon as we can!
